Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Pinewood Motor Inn. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, handling room reservations, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Services: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
  • Room Management: Process group arrivals and departures, take, cancel, and change room reservations.
  • Front Desk Operations: Balance cash, complete balance sheets, and maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
  • Customer Service: Provide general information about points of interest in the area, answer telephone calls and relay messages, and assist clients/guests with special needs.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and complete other clerical duties as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Environment: Hospitality industry, hotel, motel, resort.
  • Work Conditions: Work under pressure, attention to detail, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Personal Qualities: Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, judgement, organized, reliability, and team player.
