Join Air Canada Rouge as a Bilingual Flight Attendant

Air Canada Rouge is seeking enthusiastic and committed individuals who are passionate about travel to become part of our Toronto team (relocation to Toronto required). We are actively recruiting candidates from various regions who are prepared to relocate to Toronto ONLY. Please note that a relocation allowance is not provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the aircraft for passenger boarding while maintaining a strong awareness of the service and safety protocols for each flight.
  • Engage with customers through personal interactions and public announcements in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Welcome passengers and foster a comfortable, friendly atmosphere throughout the flight.
  • Ensure compliance with mandatory safety procedures.
  • Collaborate with the flight deck crew to ensure smooth operations and effective communication with customers.
  • Deliver inflight snack, meal, and beverage services, as well as manage the sale of onboard products.
  • Assist with the operation of the inflight entertainment system.
  • Support customers with various needs, including baggage stowage, seating arrangements, and overall comfort.
  • Manage onboard incidents and emergencies effectively.
  • Provide First Aid in the event of a medical incident or emergency.
  • Maintain the overall cleanliness and orderliness of the aircraft.
  • Share customer feedback with management and actively contribute to enhancing the customer experience at Air Canada Rouge.
  • Complete and submit necessary safety reports.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must possess a valid Canadian Passport without restrictions.
  • Reside within 90 minutes of Toronto Pearson Airport or be willing to relocate.
  • Ability to obtain a Transport Canada security clearance.
  • Access to the internet for last-minute updates and communications.
  • Comfortable working at high altitudes in a pressurized environment.
  • Previous customer service experience is an asset.
  • As this role involves safety-critical responsibilities, candidates must meet Air Canada Rouge's medical standards, including passing a medical evaluation and drug and alcohol test.

Language Proficiency:

  • Fluency in both English and French is preferred.
  • Additional language skills in Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Greek, Italian, Hebrew, Japanese, German, Punjabi, Hindi, Cantonese, Mandarin, or Korean will be considered an advantage.
