Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Terraceview Lodge, a 99-bed long-term care facility in Terrace, BC.
About the RoleAs a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will work within a client and family-centered care model, providing compassionate patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. You will be responsible for applying the Nursing Process, performing assessments, planning, and providing nursing care, as well as providing direction to other staff.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to the standards of practice and scope of practice as outlined by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal health outcomes for clients.
- Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions to meet the needs of clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence in patient care.
- Registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN registrant.
- One year of recent, related acute care or residential experience.
