Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Repair and Service Shop Supervisor to join our team at 2447911 Ontario Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our automotive repair shop, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our shop operates efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise a team of 3-4 automotive technicians, motor vehicle mechanics, apprentices, and labourers
    • Provide guidance and support to ensure that team members are working efficiently and effectively
  • Operations Management
    • Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure that work is completed on time and to a high standard
    • Estimate costs and materials required for projects
    • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met
    • Resolve any issues or concerns that may arise
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed
    • Identify and mitigate any potential health and safety risks
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a supervisory role in an automotive repair shop
    • Permanent employment
    • 40 hours per week
