Job Overview:

Our client is in search of a Head of Operations and Strategic Partnerships Development to proficiently oversee its operations and cultivate essential strategic alliances.

The ideal candidate will take charge of the foundation's daily operations while fostering partnerships that enhance the foundation's objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

  • Oversee the daily functions of the foundation, ensuring operational efficiency and seamless internal workflows.
  • Plan and execute special initiatives and significant events for the foundation, including major symposiums and dinners.
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies and procedures while recommending enhancements to improve operational effectiveness.

Strategic Partnership Development:

  • Identify, cultivate, and sustain strategic partnerships with relevant organizations, institutions, and businesses to advance the foundation's mission.
  • Negotiate and formalize partnership agreements, ensuring effective management and follow-up on these collaborations.
  • Represent the foundation at external engagements to promote its initiatives and explore new partnership avenues.

Communications Management:

  • Assist in creating and distributing content across the foundation's social media platforms and website, in both French and English.
  • Help draft and send appreciation letters to event participants, researchers, partners, and others.
  • Manage incoming communications through the foundation's email, addressing inquiries and ensuring proper follow-up.

Administrative Coordination:

  • Organize board meetings, managing logistics and documenting minutes.
  • Maintain professional relationships with partners and donors, delivering high-quality service and addressing inquiries.
