About the Role:

Metro Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions that meet the business needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop software applications using Java and SAP Commerce 6.7 (Hybris)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop technical solutions
  • Lead technical projects and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and other team members
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software development with a strong background in Java and SAP Commerce 6.7 (Hybris)
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality software products on time and within budget
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies and agile principles
  • Bilingualism (English and French)
