Position Overview:
As a Human Resources Partner Intern, you will report directly to the President and play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive HR support to our organization.

In collaboration with business leaders and managers, you will craft tailored people solutions that align with our strategic objectives while fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Human Resources Partner, your duties will include:
  • Collaborating with division leaders to develop strategic and annual plans at the business unit level.
  • Translating business requirements into short (1-2 years), medium (2-3 years), and long-term (3-5 years) workforce strategies.
  • Creating and refining job descriptions and formulating recruitment strategies for upcoming positions.
  • Driving talent attraction, recruitment, and selection processes.
  • Assessing recruitment needs in alignment with workforce strategies.
  • Facilitating mass orientations for seasonal recalls and new hires.
  • Analyzing talent evaluations and performance reviews to identify high potentials and performance gaps.
  • Providing support and coaching to managers during performance management and talent evaluation cycles.
  • Developing Individual Development Plans (IDPs) and Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), ensuring follow-up on action items.
  • Serving as a resource for Operations, offering best practices and policy interpretation in collaboration with internal and external support groups.
  • Managing employee investigations to mitigate legal risks through due process.
  • Proactively adapting HR delivery to meet evolving business challenges.
  • Identifying and implementing best practices across business units.
Corporate Governance:
Ensuring compliance with legal and contractual obligations is paramount. You will:
  • Monitor adherence to company policies, ethical standards, and compensation philosophies.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of employee transaction data, including leaves of absence, layoffs, and new hires.
  • Present an annual HR Dashboard to business unit leadership, highlighting key HR metrics and trends.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
  • A degree or diploma in Business Administration or a related Human Resources discipline; HR designation is preferred.
  • Approximately 7+ years of relevant HR experience, with at least 5 years in a generalist capacity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with HR Information Systems (HRIS).
  • The ability to influence and build rapport with a diverse group of senior management and staff.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle to meet travel requirements.
