Job Title: Sous Chef

At Stowel Lake Farm, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the preparation and presentation of our menu items.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning and preparation.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff in food preparation and presentation.
  • Ensure high-quality food standards are maintained at all times.
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in a commercial kitchen.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
