Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Salon Operations Manager to join our team at STRAIGHT 8 BARBERS LTD. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hairdressing salon.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Arrange for regular maintenance and repair work to be carried out on our equipment and facilities.
  • Coordination: Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Equipment Management: Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise.
  • Quality Control: Monitor quality and production levels to ensure that our salon meets the highest standards.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular progress reports to management, highlighting areas of success and areas for improvement.
  • Supply Chain Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to maintain a well-stocked salon.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Staff Training: Train staff and workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies to ensure a high level of competence and compliance.
  • Scheduling: Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of time and resources.
  • Work Environment: Ensure that our salon is a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
