About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Barber to join our team at Fade Away Barbershop. As a Barber, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair cutting and styling services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Services: Cut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences, provide custom hair and scalp treatment, shampoo customers' hair, shave and trim beards and mustaches, and provide other hair treatment such as waving, straightening and tinting.
  • Supervision: Supervise other hair stylists and other staff, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Client Consultation: Suggest hair style compatible with client's physical features and preferences.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain and order supplies as needed.
Work Environment

As a Barber at Fade Away Barbershop, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail and excellent customer service. You will be required to stand for extended periods and have good hand-eye coordination.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio.
  • Supervision: 1 to 2 people.
