We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Financial Officer to join our team at Captra Staffing Corporation. As a Financial Officer, you will be responsible for managing our company's financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring the accuracy of payroll and other summaries.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Record Management: Maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and balance period-end reports and reconcile issued payrolls to bank statements.
- Payroll Management: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensure accuracy of completed time sheets, and maintain payroll.
- Financial Planning: Manage finances or budget, and prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
- Skills: Ability to work independently, attention to detail, and organized.
This is a permanent position with 30 to 40 hours per week. The language of work is English.
