Job Title: Labour Relations Practice Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Labour Relations Practice Lead to join our team at Cogeco Communications Inc. in Montréal, QC. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing labour relations strategies that foster a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement labour relations strategies to promote harmonious labour relations with unionized employees
  • Manage the negotiation and renewal of collective agreements, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Provide coaching and training to managers on labour relations best practices and compliance with collective agreements
  • Act as a spokesperson for the employer in labour relations matters, including negotiations and dispute resolution
  • Collaborate with HR business partners to provide labour relations expertise and support
Requirements:
  • University degree in industrial relations, law, or a related field
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in labour relations consulting or a related field
  • Proven track record of success in labour relations, including negotiation and dispute resolution
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
