Position Overview: We are seeking a Reservoir Engineer to join our MacKay River Subsurface Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee subsurface process safety and optimize depletion strategies for the MacKay River.
  • Conduct production forecasting to inform investment choices.
  • Design and enhance well pad configurations to ensure maximum value in development plans.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Geoscience.
  • Experience in In Situ operations.
  • Technical expertise in Reservoir Engineering.
  • Strong understanding of project economics and value drivers.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate across various disciplines and perspectives.
  • Proficient in presenting ideas and findings to management at all levels.
  • Registered or eligible for registration with the association of professional engineers and geoscientists.

Additional Information:

  • This role is based in Calgary.
  • Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, totaling 40 hours per week.
