About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Appliance Technician to join our team at Boulder Mountain Resort Ltd. As an Electrical Appliance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical appliances and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting Electrical Tests: Conduct voltage, resistance, and other tests using electrical test equipment to diagnose faults and ensure the safe operation of our appliances.
  • Preparing Estimates: Prepare written estimates of repair costs for our customers, providing them with a clear understanding of the work required and the associated costs.
  • Repairing Electrical Appliances: Refer to schematic drawings or product manuals to repair parts, diagnose faults, and replace faulty components to ensure our appliances are functioning correctly.
  • Providing Customer Service: Advise customers on work performed and the condition of their equipment, ensuring they are satisfied with the service provided.
  • Operating Shop Equipment: Use shop equipment and specialized diagnostic and programming apparatus to repair, adjust, and reprogram appliances, ensuring they meet the required standards.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
