Customer Care and Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator - Customer Care to join our team at Holcim. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth delivery of our products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer calls and provide support based on inquiries and update orders accordingly.
  • Review orders to ensure accuracy and identify any special conditions.
  • Inform customers of company policies, including order confirmation, additional products, and driver responsibilities.
  • Provide support and knowledge to drivers, including directions, site details, and project information.
  • Assist customer inquiries regarding truck locations, ETAs, order availability, and other related matters.
  • Proactively contact customers when orders are not operating as scheduled.
  • Communicate with Operations, Quality Control, and Sales Teams as needed.
  • Coordinate driver and QA/QC issues related to active orders.
  • Document any issues regarding orders.
  • Provide sales and billing coordinator information for billing accuracy.
  • Investigate and develop solutions to problems as they arise.
  • Complete miscellaneous filing, administrative work, and issue investigations as needed.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in the construction industry and/or logistical experience is an asset.
  • Experience in a fast-paced call centre with multiple demands and metrics.

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong time management skills and ability to perform several tasks at once.
  • Ability to work well under pressure with rapidly changing customer priorities.
  • Competency with all Microsoft Office and general native PC programs.
  • Knowledge of local market geography and addresses.
  • Proficient typing and data entering skills.
