About the Role

Lafarge Canada is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics operations, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Logistics Operations
  • Manage customer orders, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of products.
  • Coordinate with drivers, dispatchers, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient logistics operations.
  • Monitor and report on logistics metrics, such as delivery times and product quality.
Customer Service
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Communicate with customers to confirm orders, provide product information, and address any concerns.
Safety and Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures, including proper handling and storage of products.
  • Identify and report any safety hazards or concerns to management.
Administrative Tasks
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
  • Assist with special projects and initiatives as needed.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Experience in logistics, customer service, or a related field preferred.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
    • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
