Position Overview
The Canadian Association of Radiologists is seeking a highly skilled General Radiologist to provide exceptional diagnostic imaging services. This role offers the chance to work within a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient care and professional growth.
Role Responsibilities
- Deliver a wide range of radiological services, including but not limited to radiography, ultrasound, breast imaging, bone mineral density assessments, computed tomography, fluoroscopy, magnetic resonance imaging, and limited non-vascular interventional procedures.
- Contribute to a healthcare facility with a capacity of 172 beds, catering to a diverse population and serving as a key medical institution in the region.
- Engage with various departments such as emergency care, intensive care, acute medicine, women's and children's health, mental health services, rehabilitation, and surgical care.
- Participate in partial on-call duties, enhanced by teleradiology support.
Candidate Qualifications
- Certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC) is required.
- Eligibility for Independent Registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) is necessary.
- Expertise in breast imaging techniques, including stereotactic and tomosynthesis, is advantageous.
- Fellowship training is preferred but not essential.
