We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Director to lead our Long-Term Care Home in the Port Hope area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional leadership and ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Provide overall leadership and direction to ensure the successful operation of the Long-Term Care Home, including management of financial, physical, and human resources.
- Resident Care: Ensure that residents' goals and objectives are achieved, and provide a safe and healthy environment for residents and staff.
- Team Development: Recruit and develop a high-performing team, fostering an environment of knowledge sharing and skill building.
- Community Engagement: Engage with residents, families, and the local community to promote the mission, vision, and values of Southbridge Care Homes.
- Financial Management: Collaborate in the budgeting process and manage the facility within budget, overseeing accounting operations.
- Education: Hold a post-secondary degree (3-year program) or post-secondary diploma (2-year program) in health or social services.
- Certification: Administrator's Certification (minimum 100 hours of instruction time completed or enrolled).
- Experience: At least 3 years of working experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity in the health or social services sector.
- Additional Qualifications: Demonstrated effective leadership, communication, and comprehension skills; passion for helping others; excellent organizational and time management skills; customer-focused attitude; ability to generate creative solutions.
