Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist

Brightshores Health System is seeking a full-time Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team of dedicated professionals. This is an exciting opportunity to expand the scope of our Schedule One Adult Psychiatric facility and contribute to the development of a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Program.
About the ProgramOur new model of care will provide both outpatient and inpatient services for children and adolescents, utilizing resources from the hospital, schools, and community partners. The program will be designed to provide comprehensive care and support to families, with a focus on keeping children and adolescents requiring care closer to home.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing psychiatric services to children and adolescents, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. They will also be involved in the development and implementation of the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Program, working closely with community partners and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements- FRCP(C) or eligibility to practice medicine in Ontario
