Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Operations Manager to join our team at Marble Slab Creamery Halifax. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and optimize daily operations to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Monitor revenues and labour costs to make informed business decisions
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of 3-4 staff members
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including menu planning and inventory management
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices for food and other supplies
  • Develop and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner
Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent employment with 30-35 hours per week
  • Fluency in English
