Student Success Advisor

Job Summary:The Student Success Advisor will play a key role in supporting students in achieving their academic and personal goals. This position will provide guidance and counseling to students on academic and financial matters, as well as connect them with resources and services to ensure their success.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide academic and financial advising to students, including guidance on program selection, course planning, and financial aid options.
- Assist students in developing academic and career plans, and provide support in achieving their goals.
- Connect students with resources and services on campus, including academic support services, counseling, and career development.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure a seamless student experience.
- Develop and implement programs to promote student retention and success.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from a recognized post-secondary institution.
- 4-5 years of experience in a service-centred or academic-centred role, evaluating complex student academic and financial issues.
- Proven ability to provide exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with interpreting and applying policies and procedures.
- Sound knowledge of best practices in enrolment or registrarial services.
