Academic Business Vice President

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Academic Business Vice President to join our team at Duke College Inc.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the academic business unit, aligning with the college's overall mission and goals.
- Resource Allocation: Allocate resources, including personnel, budget, and facilities, to implement organizational policies and programs.
- Department Establishment: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
- Regional Coordination: Coordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments to achieve organizational objectives.
- Policy Formulation: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs.
- Representation: Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions.
- Staff Selection: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions.
- Education: Bachelor's degree.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
- Work Setting: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Office.
- Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's license and willingness to travel internationally.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, organized, team player, and values and ethics.
