Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities

Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Train and Develop Staff

Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.

Quality Control

Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and take corrective action when necessary to maintain high standards.

Customer Service

Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and take steps to resolve issues promptly and efficiently.

Record Keeping

Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and use this information to inform business decisions.

Work Environment

As a Food Service Supervisor, you will work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results. You will be required to stand for extended periods and may be required to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Work Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment is required.

Language

English is the primary language of communication in this role.

Work Hours

30 to 40 hours per week.
