Job Title: Line Cook

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at THE RANCH HOUSE RESTAURANT. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
Requirements:
  • Safe Food Handling certificate
  • Food Safety Certificate
  • Canadian or International cuisine experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Dependability, flexibility, and initiative
