Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director, KYC Delivery Lead to join our Technology team at BMO. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and supporting the technology strategy and solution for the critical KYC function, which is part of Client Onboarding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a technology strategy that aligns with business needs and goals.
  • Lead a team of business analysts, testers, and SMEs to deliver business and strategic priorities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate end-end implementation, integration, manual/automated testing, releases, and post-production issue management.
  • Investigate and identify strategies to automate and optimize business processes to drive operational efficiencies.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on relevant regulations and policies.
  • Identify emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making.
  • Recommend business priorities, advise on resource requirements, and develop a roadmap for strategic execution.
  • Lead change management programs of varying scope and type, including readiness assessments, planning, stakeholder management, execution, evaluation, and sustainment of initiatives.
  • Presents and communicates at all levels within IT and across businesses/groups.
Requirements
  • Typically 10+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of software development practice, concepts/methodologies (i.e., waterfall, Agile, iterative), and technologies obtained through formal training and/or work experience.
  • Experience with end-end delivery of KYC tech changes focused on regulatory/audit/stabilization/strategic requirements, system integration changes, testing, release management, and production issue management/fixes.
  • Experience coordinating all Tech (CM & Enterprise) and business teams involved to facilitate end-end implementation, integration, manual/automated testing, releases, and post-production issue management.
  • Seasoned professional with a combination of education, experience, and industry knowledge.
  • Verbal & written communication skills - In-depth/Expert.
