About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Treasure Mills Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our food products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with production staff to resolve quality issues and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain documentation and records related to quality control and assurance.
  • Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
  • Work closely with the maintenance department to ensure that equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
  • Develop and implement a quality control program that meets the requirements of SQF, HACCP, and GMP.
  • Lead the production team to ensure that quantitative and qualitative measures are met, including those related to standard costs, cost reductions, productivity, health and safety, GMP, sanitation, and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Develop and implement a system to track and analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a food processing or manufacturing environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role.
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards, SQF, HACCP, and GMP.
  • Degree or diploma in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, Science, or a related field.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Flexibility with work hours and the ability to work different shifts with overtime and weekends, as needed.
