Job Summary:
Piramal Group is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Production Manager - Manufacturing to lead our manufacturing operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day functions of our manufacturing facilities, ensuring that all operations are conducted in accordance with cGMP requirements and that our products meet the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management: Provide leadership to senior production staff, including recruitment, training, performance management, and scheduling.
- Manufacturing Operations: Direct the day-to-day functions of manufacturing, including daily production meetings, and develop manufacturing schedules in conjunction with stakeholders.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all manufacturing operations are in accordance with cGMP requirements and are accountable for all quality issues within the manufacturing areas, including audits and investigations.
- Training and Development: Coordinate and provide training as per Standard Operating Procedure(s) and facilitate an emphasis on Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) for all manufacturing operations.
- Process Improvement: Participate in the HAZOP analysis program, involvement in the selection and evaluation of process equipment, and provide technical assistance regarding operational related issues for projects.
- Financial Management: Develop and be accountable for the manufacturing budget and participate in post-project reviews on behalf of production.
- Lean Initiatives: Provide leadership and champion lean initiatives and develop/report metrics for manufacturing (OEE, EHS, Quality).
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a manufacturing leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of cGMP requirements and quality management systems.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
