Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will possess a blend of organizational skills, composure in high-pressure situations, and a strong focus on customer service. Ideal qualifications include:

  • Experience in customer service and administrative roles within a veterinary environment
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and veterinary software systems
  • Outstanding client interaction skills
  • A compassionate, supportive, and optimistic demeanor
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively, adapt to changes, and remain flexible
  • Initiative to independently manage responsibilities
  • Strong attention to detail coupled with excellent time management abilities
  • Availability for modified shift work, including evenings

  • Proficiency in MS Office and effective communication skills
  • Previous veterinary experience or completion of an accredited Veterinary Assistant program is advantageous
