Key Responsibilities

  • Assist veterinary staff with various tasks and treatments, ensuring the highest level of patient care and comfort.
  • Create a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our reception area, pet holding areas, and common spaces.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, responding to their needs and concerns in a compassionate and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in veterinary support and client care.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; veterinary assistant or office assistant certificate an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, staff, and veterinarians.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
