POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a meticulous Compensation and Benefits Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring precise and timely payroll operations, overseeing various payroll functions, tax compliance, and benefits management. Your keen attention to detail will be essential as you collaborate with team members to navigate payroll systems, resolve technical issues, and provide support to employees.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Payroll Processing (50%):
    Accurately collect and verify employee attendance data to ensure correct payroll calculations. Collaborate with departments to record employee work hours and process payroll according to established cycles. Incorporate salary structures, benefits, deductions, and tax withholdings into payroll calculations, ensuring timely and accurate pay distribution.
  • Benefits Management (20%):
    Oversee the administration of employee benefits, including health insurance and retirement plans. Manage enrollments and changes to benefit plans, ensuring compliance with guidelines and accurate deductions.
  • Payroll Compliance (20%):
    Serve as the primary contact for payroll-related inquiries and ensure adherence to payroll regulations and tax codes. Participate in audits and maintain strict internal controls to protect sensitive payroll information.
  • Employee Support (10%):
    Provide guidance to employees regarding payroll and benefits, addressing any discrepancies or inquiries effectively. Develop user-friendly resources to assist employees in navigating payroll systems.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates should possess a certificate, diploma, or degree in Payroll, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A minimum of five years of experience in a similar role is required, along with proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities are essential.
