POSITION SUMMARY
The Administrative Support Specialist will deliver clerical and organizational assistance to all personnel and clients benefiting from the services provided by the program. This role is a vital component of the Health Care Team, executing all responsibilities in alignment with the Mission, Vision, Values, Policies, and Procedures of Prairie Mountain Health.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Overview:
- Organizing procedure schedules based on booking details and necessary resources.
- Implementing block booking protocols to arrange physician's procedures efficiently.
- Ensuring effective written, verbal, and telephonic communication within the healthcare facility, across units and departments, as well as with external organizations.
- Fostering and sustaining positive public relations between the healthcare facility, patients, families, and visitors. Serving as the conduit for information and communication (written, telephonic, and interpersonal) in a manner that upholds the dignity and respect of individuals.
- Acknowledging and addressing the necessity for ongoing education and personal growth, such as participating in relevant training sessions and enhancing information technology skills.
- Performing additional tasks as assigned.
