Position Overview

The Landscape Operations Supervisor at TIMES LANDSCAPING INC is responsible for overseeing a team dedicated to maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces. This role requires a blend of leadership, planning, and hands-on expertise in landscape management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Recruit, lead, and organize team members to ensure efficient operations.
  • Grounds Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement maintenance schedules for various landscapes.
  • Resource Estimation: Assess and forecast labor and material needs for projects.
  • Landscape Construction Oversight: Direct and manage all aspects of landscape construction activities.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs and documentation of work performed.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Analyze and execute plans from technical drawings.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all tools and machinery are in good working condition.
  • Supply Management: Order necessary materials and equipment as required.
  • Problem Resolution: Address work-related issues and provide solutions to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Supervision of Nursery Staff: Oversee the activities of nursery and greenhouse personnel.
  • Schedule Development: Create and manage work schedules and operational procedures.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 to 2 years in a supervisory role within landscaping or grounds maintenance.
