About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at Times Landscaping Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our landscaping crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hiring and Supervision: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of landscaping staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Grounds Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement plans for the maintenance of our clients' properties, including scheduling and coordinating with other departments as needed.
  • Labour and Materials Estimation: Plan and estimate the labour and materials required for each project, ensuring that we are meeting our clients' needs while maintaining a profitable margin.
  • Landscape Construction Management: Oversee the planning, management, and supervision of landscape construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and to the required standard.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of work completed, including logs and reports as required.
  • Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to ensure that our team is aware of the project requirements.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Repair and maintain equipment to ensure that it is in good working order and that our team has the necessary tools to perform their duties effectively.
  • Supply Chain Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support our operations.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Nursery and Greenhouse Supervision: Supervise nursery and greenhouse workers to ensure that they are meeting the required standards.
  • Work Scheduling and Procedures: Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure that our team is working efficiently and effectively.
