Director, Thunder Bay Engineering Operations

BBA Consultants is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Thunder Bay office as Director, Thunder Bay Engineering Operations. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for establishing and growing our presence in the region, driving business development, and overseeing the delivery of high-quality engineering services to our clients.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a strategic thinker with a proven track record in operations management, business development, and team leadership. As Director, Thunder Bay Engineering Operations, you will be accountable for:

  • Establishing and implementing a business plan that aligns with BBA Consultants' vision and goals.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with local clients, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Leading a multidisciplinary team of engineers and support staff to deliver projects that meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to drive business growth and revenue expansion.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree in engineering or a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a consulting engineering firm.
  • A strong network of contacts in the power and mining and metals sectors.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Asset: Knowledge of French or Spanish.
