Carpentry Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at All Canada Contracting & Renovation Ltd. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for preparing estimates of labour and/or material costs, preparing layouts in conformance to building codes, and measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects
- Develop and implement layouts that meet building codes and regulations
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials to create finished products
- Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
- Coordinate and schedule work on construction sites
- Estimate costs and materials required for projects
- Participate in programs that support newcomers, refugees, youth, Veterans, and Indigenous people
- Provide on-the-job training and cultural competency training to create a welcoming work environment
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in carpentry or a related field
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Permanent full-time position
- 40 hours per week
- English language work environment
