Database Systems Support Engineer

NavitsPartners is seeking a skilled Database Systems Support Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage database installations, upgrades, and administration to ensure seamless operations.
  • Monitor system performance to diagnose and address issues, ensuring operational continuity.
  • Implement and manage data backup and recovery strategies to prevent data loss.
  • Secure databases from unauthorized access and potential threats, maintaining data integrity.
  • Optimize system performance and query efficiency to improve database responsiveness.
  • Plan and manage database storage and capacity needs to ensure scalability.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in Dell and/or VMware technologies.
  • Incident response skills to quickly resolve database issues.
  • Security background to ensure database security and integrity.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as needed to provide support.
