Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Blackman Support Services Ltd. as a key member of our technical support group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical assistance and support to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems, software, and hardware.
  • Research and implement solutions to technical issues, utilizing user guides, technical manuals, and other documentation.
  • Offer advice and training to users to help them overcome technical difficulties.
  • Collect, organize, and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts.
  • Participate in the redesign of applications and other software to improve technical support processes.
  • Supervise and mentor other technical support workers in the group to ensure high-quality support services.
  • Provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users, responding to identified difficulties.
  • Set up equipment for employee use, ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, and software.
  • Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations to ensure business continuity.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in technical support, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of networking software, hardware, security software, database software, and other relevant technologies.
  • Experience with MS Office, SQL, SharePoint, MS Exchange, and other business applications.
  • Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing technical requirements.
