GENERAL FUNCTION

The primary objective of the Retail Operations Manager is to lead within the LensCrafters framework. This role is crucial in achieving key performance metrics by embodying the Brand Story and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Guarantee that the LensCrafters team delivers unparalleled Customer Service
  • Provide training and mentorship to the team utilizing Company resources
  • Evaluate performance reports to devise and execute strategies aimed at enhancing store KPIs, including:
  • NPS – Net Promoter Score; % Sales to Plan; Customer Count; Complete Pair; Labor; Training Saturation; Exam Growth; and others
  • Recruit and onboard a highly motivated team to ensure optimal staffing
  • Collaborate with the Doctor of Optometry to enhance customer and patient experiences while driving store KPIs
  • Take pride in the store and guide the team to flawlessly execute all operational, inventory, and visual tasks to ensure the best customer and patient experience
  • Ensure adherence to all Company-approved safety protocols to maintain a safe and enjoyable work environment
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 4+ years of management or supervisory experience
  • In-depth understanding of operations, processes, and business implications
  • Strong influencing and negotiation capabilities
  • Skills in team building and management
  • Knowledge of current optical principles and products
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Proficient in basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
  • Sales proficiency
  • Familiarity with cash registers, computers, and calculators
  • Ability to manage time effectively under tight deadlines
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • College degree or equivalent
  • State licensure (if applicable) and/or ABO Certification in non-licensed states
  • LensCrafters Final Inspector Certification
  • LensCrafters Quality, Fitting and Adjusting Program
  • Previous experience in customer service and retail
  • Knowledge of current store offerings
  • High level of business acumen, including detailed knowledge of LC Dashboard

Employee compensation is influenced by various factors, including location, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage standards.
