RONA Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Inventory Management Professional to join our team. As an Inventory Management Professional, you will be responsible for overseeing the inventory management planning and other margin budgets for our Distribution Centers network within Canada and Direct Delivery Centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management Planning: Develop and implement data-driven inventory methods to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs.
  • Inventory Budgeting: Create and manage annual inventory budgets for Distribution Centers, ensuring alignment with corporate targets.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor and control inventory volumes, accuracy, and costs, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a team of supervisors responsible for inventory control and planning, providing guidance and support to ensure successful execution of inventory management strategies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Supply Chain, Finance, and Merchandising teams to drive inventory performance and optimize distribution center operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Certifications: Inventory management certification (e.g., CPIM) or a relevant finance certification (e.g., CPA, CMA).
  • Experience: Minimum 7-10 years of experience in inventory management, with a strong emphasis on financial aspects, and 5-7 years of experience as a team leader.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to leverage financial data for informed decision-making, and experience with Warehouse Management Systems (BY-WMS, Exced), Access, and Excel.
