Job Summary:

Thermo King Eastern Canada is seeking a highly skilled Parts Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our parts department, you will be responsible for managing inventory, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the timely delivery of parts to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safeguard inventory against shrinkage and conduct regular inventory spot checks
  • Order and receive main inventory and mobile inventories
  • Provide phone support to customers regarding parts and invoicing
  • Support technicians and service advisors in securing required parts for work orders
  • Responsible for getting cores shipped back monthly and handling returns from TK Corp and local vendors
  • Ensure confidentiality of suppliers and track used units and heaters
  • Review work order parts usage and provide counter support for parts issues to the shop
  • Deliver parts to customer locations and source non-stock parts for service jobs
  • Receiving and stocking parts for shop and service vehicles, and replenishing assigned inventory daily
  • Maintain accurate control of high-dollar items and pending orders/receipts

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of experience in parts and/or inventory management
  • Forklift license and ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, professionalism, and ability to communicate efficiently
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to use judgment and tact
  • Superior customer service skills and ability to handle a large volume of work in a fast-paced environment
  • Bilingual FRE/ENG required
