We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Secretary to join our team at the BC Cancer Agency in Victoria, BC. As a Medical Secretary, you will provide administrative support to our clinical team, ensuring the smooth operation of our oncology clinic.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and staff
- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Coordinate appointments and tests for patients
- Prepare and distribute medical reports and documents
- Assist with research documents and grant applications
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Grade 12 graduation from a recognized secretarial program
- Three years' recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to keyboard at 50 wpm
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
