Occupational Therapist I - Adult Inpatient Program

Position Overview:

The Occupational Therapist I will be responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based therapeutic services aimed at enhancing the occupational performance of clients within the adult inpatient program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver client-centered services that promote engagement in meaningful activities such as self-care, work, and leisure.
  • Assist clients in developing functional skills and achieving greater independence.
  • Work collaboratively with clients and their families throughout the rehabilitation process.
  • Contribute to interprofessional teams and participate in initiatives aimed at quality improvement.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current registration with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists.

Additional Required Skills:

  • Ability to work autonomously with a diverse client population.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support.
