About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit individual to join our team at Fine Finish Painting and Renovations Ltd as a Construction Laborer. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our crew with various tasks on construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading Materials: Assist in loading and unloading construction materials, such as tools, equipment, and building supplies.
  • Site Preparation: Help prepare construction sites by clearing debris, leveling ground, and setting up scaffolding.
  • Material Handling: Assist in mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Supporting Crew Members: Provide assistance to crew members as needed, including helping with drilling and blasting rock on construction sites and assisting in demolishing buildings.
  • Traffic Control: Direct traffic at or near construction sites to ensure a safe working environment.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Conditions: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and physically demanding tasks.
  • Physical Capabilities: Be able to lift heavy loads, work in varying weather conditions, and maintain attention to detail.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
