As a Network Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining our core telephony networks, provisioning, and troubleshooting. Key responsibilities include installing and upgrading core telephony hardware and software, resolving problems on our network telephony, and working on special projects with other departments to facilitate our growing network. You will also work with Tier 2 support teams on trouble tickets and the NOC, providing 3rd-level support, and interface with client care to deliver customer telephone services over SIP, TDM, UC, and MS Teams. Additionally, you will provide leadership and direction during network outages and employ excellent problem-solving skills. A graduate of a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or formal training in an Electronics/Electrical Program from a recognizable institution and/or relevant work experience is required. Minimum of 4 years' experience in telephone communications or IP networking is also required. Understanding of PRI, ISUP, SS7, Centrex, and Residential phone services, as well as Packet Cable, SIP Peering, SIP Trunking for Business, and SIP Lines services, is essential. Experience with Cisco IP, Fixed Wireless, Packet Telephony, DSL, PON, CMTS, and HFC networks is also required. Willingness to learn and upgrade technical expertise is essential. Regular 40-hour week, home/office during daytime shift, with travel required on special project basis. Participation in the On-Call rotation as required. A valid driver's license and be bondable (reliability clearance) is required. Our philosophy of developing and training our team 'on the ground' not only creates a strong onboarding experience but also readies employees for future growth opportunities within the organization.
