Job Title: Wealth Management Planner at The Toronto-Dominion Bank

As a key member of the Private Wealth Management team, the Centralized Planner plays a crucial role in collaborating with TD Wealth advisors to deliver customized advice on retirement, taxation, estate management, and comprehensive wealth strategies for affluent clients. This position involves working closely with advisors to provide tailored financial, tax, estate, and risk management planning assistance. Responsibilities also encompass the development of financial plans, identification of opportunities, and execution of TD Wealth's strategy for high net worth clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing personalized wealth management plans based on client data
  • Conducting thorough research to resolve significant client concerns
  • Keeping abreast of developments in wealth management and sharing insights with TD Wealth partners
  • Spotting opportunities for complementary financial solutions
  • Fostering relationships with advisors and management
  • Delivering informative presentations on wealth management topics
  • Building robust internal networks
  • Ensuring optimal service delivery
  • Completing other assigned duties as required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation
  • A minimum of 8 years in wealth management
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial planning tools
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively

Additional Qualifications:

  • At least 8 years of experience in financial or wealth management
  • Self-motivated with a commitment to delivering high-quality service
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Strong communication, presentation, time management, and organizational abilities
  • Professional designations such as CA, CGA, CMA, or LL.B are advantageous
  • Familiarity with investment and insurance sectors is a significant asset
