Responsibilities
At IG Wealth Management, you build your practice on your terms – working directly with clients to develop relationships, provide comprehensive financial plans, and help to achieve financial confidence with their life-long financial goals. We support you through a team of advanced financial planning experts and a network of wealth planning, mortgage, and insurance planning specialists to onboard and transition your book of business to IG Wealth Management. Move your clients’ accounts and if insurance licensed, your client’s life insurance policies over to IG and it’s partner companies to build an IG Living Plan (ongoing financial plan that can be tracked for progress) with your existing and established relationships.
Requirements
Strong interpersonal skills
Educational background should be a university degree holder or a college diploma.
Experience required is a minimum of 5 years as an independent or bank financial advisor. Preference for an advisor with 10 years in the business and an established book of business to be considered.
A must is a mutual funds licence in Ontario. A nice to have is an insurance licence in Ontario.
Today, over 1,400 of our Consultants (Financial Advisors) hold the Certified Financial Planner designation. This is a nice to have for the time being.
