Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Housekeeping Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including supervising housekeeping staff, managing inventory, and coordinating cleaning schedules.
- Ensure that all housekeeping staff are trained and equipped to provide exceptional customer service and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and quality.
- Conduct regular room inspections to ensure that rooms are clean, tidy, and meet our high standards.
- Manage labor costs effectively, ensuring that we are operating within budget and maintaining a high level of productivity.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve housekeeping efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments, including front desk and maintenance, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to housekeeping staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to housekeeping staff to ensure they are meeting expectations.
- Manage and maintain accurate records, including inventory, cleaning schedules, and staff performance.
- Previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or in a similar role is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, guests, and other departments.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; certificate or diploma in hotel management or a related field is an asset.
