Housekeeping Assistant Manager Job Summary



We are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Assistant Manager to join our team at Hampton Inn & Suites Kelowna Airport. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have a clean and comfortable stay.



Key Responsibilities


  • Plan and coordinate the activities of our housekeeping supervisors and crews to ensure efficient and effective room cleaning and maintenance.
  • Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to identify and address any issues or concerns.
  • Supervise and train housekeeping staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional service.
  • Coordinate contract services as needed, including laundry and linen services.
  • Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met at all times.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, including inventory management and budgeting.
  • Supervise maintenance and repair services to ensure that our facilities are well-maintained.


Requirements


  • 1-2 years of experience in a housekeeping or hospitality role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail.
  • Client-focused and flexible attitude.
  • Organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings and weekends.
