Job Summary
The Store Manager is a key leadership role within EssilorLuxottica, responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business results in our optical stores. As a Store Manager, you will be the face of our brand, leading a team of sales associates and opticians to provide top-notch service and sales to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a high-performing team of sales associates and opticians to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and customer engagement.
- Ensure exceptional customer service by providing personalized attention, resolving issues promptly, and exceeding customer expectations.
- Manage store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and store appearance.
- Collaborate with the district manager and regional leadership to achieve business objectives and implement company initiatives.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching and development opportunities, and make recommendations for promotions or terminations.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions to inform business decisions.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- 4+ years of retail management experience, preferably in the optical industry.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and leading high-performing teams.
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- State licensure (if applicable) and/or ABO Certification in non-licensed states.
- LensCrafters Final Inspector Certification.
- LensCrafters Quality, Fitting and Adjusting Program.
- Previous experience in customer service and retail management.
