Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at Macs Convenience Store. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of sales associates and management staff to provide excellent customer service and achieve sales targets.
- Merchandise Management: Order and manage inventory, including stock levels, pricing, and promotions to maximize sales and minimize waste.
- Customer Service: Ensure that all customers receive a high level of service, responding to their needs and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
- Store Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and security.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze sales reports, customer feedback, and other data to inform business decisions and drive sales growth.
- Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales associates and management staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a retail management role
- Work Setting: Retail business
- Security and Safety: Basic security clearance
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking; standing for extended periods
